At CAAP Academy, we are committed to providing personalized education tailored to each student's unique learning style, cognitive tendencies, and academic needs. Our admission process is designed to ensure that every student receives an individualized learning experience that fosters growth and success. Through a thorough assessment process, we evaluate each student’s strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement to determine the best program and level for them.
Admissions Process
Our admission process involves two key assessments that help us tailor our curriculum to the specific needs of each student:
STEP 1:
COSEC Assessment
This online assessment is the first step in our admissions process. It evaluates the student's cognitive and behavioral tendencies, academic aptitude, and learning style, allowing us to understand how they process and retain information. The COSEC Assessment helps us identify any challenges the student may face in their learning journey.
STEP 2:
Class Date &
Time Selection
Once both assessments are completed, we provide a personalized recommendation for the student, including the ideal class level and learning plan that best suits their academic and personal development.
STEP 3:
In-Person Reading Comprehension & Math Assessments
After completing the COSEC Assessment, the student and their parents are invited to our office for a comprehensive reading comprehension and/or math proficiency assessments (depending on selected class). These assessments measure the student's ability to understand and analyze text, including their literacy and math skills. We use these assessments to assign appropriate courses and tracks, and to identify specific areas where the student may need additional support.
